For the Sauce:
- 2 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 4 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon Shaoxing cooking wine , Mirin or
- dry sherry
- 4 ½ tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon mushroom-flavored dark soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon light brown sugar or granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tablespoon Gochujang paste
For the Stir Fry:
- 2 tablespoon Extra virgin olive oil or canola oil
- 5 garlic cloves , finely minced
- 2 onions , finely chopped or sliced
- 1000 g /2 lb lean ground beef
- ½ cup green onions , chopped
- 1 thumb-size fresh ginger , grated

Instructions
- In a small bowl, combine sauce ingredients together and set aside.
- Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the meat to the center of the hot pan. Use a wooden spatula to break the meat into pieces. Let the meat brown without moving it for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Break the ground beef into smaller pieces with your spatula and continue cooking until the meat is cooked through. Add the garlic, minced ginger, and chopped onions and cook until tender.
- Add Sauce and cook the Ground Beef Bulgogi for a further 2 to 3 minutes, or until the sauce has evaporated.
- Stir in the chopped green onions, then serve over rice, garnished Ground Beef Bulgogi with more chopped green onion and sesame seeds, if desired.
