Ingredients
- 9 cups corn chex cereal
- 2 cups Goldfish crackers
- 2 cups mini pretzel twists
- 2 cups cheese crackers (Cheez-its or Cheese Nip type)
- 8 TBS butter (melted)
- 2 TBS Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp seasoning salt
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¾ tsp garlic powder
- 2 TBS bottled grated Parmesan cheese (not fresh or shredded)
- 2 TBS powdered cheddar cheese
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 250°F.
- In a large bowl, combine all the cereal, goldfish, pretzels, and cheese crackers.
- In a small bowl, combine melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, seasoning salt, garlic powder, and onion powder. Stir until well mixed.
- Pour the seasoning mixture over the cereal and cracker mixture, stir gently to coat everything evenly, then sprinkle the parmesan and cheddar cheese over it and stir again.
- Spread mixture out on baking sheets in a single layer.
- Bake for 45- 50 minutes, making sure to stir it every 15 minutes so it cooks evenly, until it's crisp and slightly browned.
- Cool completely on the baking sheets before serving.
Notes
- Add one teaspoon of hot sauce to the butter before coating the cereal for an added kick. Or more if you want it really spicy!
- For a tasty gift, put it in individual treat bags or small mason jars.
- Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks at room temperature.
- Omit the onion powder if you'd like and just increase the garlic powder to one tsp instead of 3/4 tsp. This is how I typically make it (since I don't like onions); it tastes great either way.
