Easy Homemade Pineapple Cobbler
Description
This recipe combines sugars, flour, salt, baking powder, and ground ginger to create a spiced dough base. Melted salted butter, pineapple juice, honey, vanilla extract, and whole milk are incorporated to form a moist batter. Pouring the batter into a buttered 9x13-inch pan and topping it with pineapple tidbits pressed slightly into the dough ensures even fruit distribution and integration during baking.
Baking at 375 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes sets the edges golden brown while maintaining a tender center. The ginger adds a subtle warmth that balances the pineapple’s sweetness and acidity. This cobbler delivers a pleasing mix of soft cake and juicy fruit.
This dessert pairs well with vanilla ice cream, butter pecan ice cream, whipped cream, or a drizzle of caramel sauce for added richness. It can be served warm or at room temperature.
For doneness, a toothpick inserted midway between center and edge comes out clean. Leftovers keep in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days and reheat well in the microwave or air fryer. This practical storage and reheating flexibility make it convenient for multiple servings or make-ahead dessert.
