Easy Honey Garlic Shrimp
Description
This recipe calls for peeled and deveined shrimp cooked in canola oil over medium-high heat until just pink and slightly firm. After removing the shrimp, fresh garlic is briefly sautéed to release aroma, then combined with honey and lite soy sauce, whisked and cooked briefly to thicken into a glaze. The shrimp return to the pan and are coated evenly with the flavorful sauce. The cooking method ensures tender shrimp with a glossy, sweet-savory finish.
The honey balances the saltiness of the soy sauce, while garlic provides aromatic depth. Optional garnishes like sesame seeds add a pleasant crunch, and parsley adds a fresh herbal note. This dish pairs well with rice, noodles, or steamed vegetables and can be prepared in under 20 minutes.
