Easy Nachos
Description
This Easy Nachos recipe involves layering tortilla chips on a baking sheet with shredded cheese sprinkled between and over toppings like ground beef, beans, and veggies. Baking melts the cheese until gooey and helps the toppings warm through. The dish is typically served warm, retaining a crisp texture from the chips with pockets of melted cheese and flavorful toppings.
Nachos are ideal for casual snacking or as part of a larger meal with sides such as guacamole, sour cream, or salsa. The recipe encourages flexibility, allowing different protein or vegetarian options and various cheeses to match taste preferences.
Using a silicone mat on the baking sheet aids cleanup by preventing sticking. The recipe supports experimentation with ingredients, making it suitable for various dietary needs or ingredient availability.
