Easy Peach Cobbler Recipe

Delicious easy peach cobbler baked in a skillet in under an hour with fresh peaches and tons of family friendly flavor!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white sugar of
  • 1 cup flour
  • salt a pinch
  • ¾ cup milk
  • 1 ½ tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 12 tablespoons butter softened
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 8 peaches peeled and sliced
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit. 
  2. Whisk the flour, ½ cup of white sugar, brown sugar, salt and baking powder together until combined.
  3. Mix the egg, milk and vanilla extract in a separate bowl until combined.
  4. Pour it over the dry ingredients and mix just until combined.
  5. In a separate bowl, mix the butter with the remaining sugar, cinnamon and lemon juice, then pour it over the peaches and stir to combine.
  6. Spray a 9x13 baking pan or a large cast iron skillet with non-stick spray.
  7. Pour the batter into the skillet/pan and layer in the peach slices.
  8. Bake for 35-40 minutes or until the crust has turned a light golden color.
  9. Let it rest for 10 minutes before serving with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped topping.
