Easy Peppermint Bark Recipe

Easy Peppermint Bark combines melted semisweet chocolate layered with white chocolate, topped with crushed peppermint candies. The peppermint provides a crisp, minty contrast to the smooth chocolate layers, creating a festive treat that sets firm and breaks into pieces for serving. This no-bake dessert is simple to prepare and visually appealing.

Description

The recipe starts by melting semisweet chocolate and spreading it evenly on parchment-lined pan to a quarter-inch thickness. After chilling until firm, melted white chocolate is layered on top and sprinkled with crushed candy canes or peppermint candies. Pressing the candies lightly into the chocolate helps them adhere.

The bark is refrigerated for about two hours until fully set, then broken into pieces. It offers a combination of rich chocolate and refreshing peppermint flavors with a crunchy texture from the crushed candies.

This treat can be stored airtight and used as a holiday gift or accompaniment to coffee or tea. It requires no baking and minimal preparation time, making it accessible for cooks of varying skill levels.
