Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 onion thinly sliced, white or yellow onion
- 1 bell pepper thinly sliced
- 1 lb ribeye steak thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 12 hawaiian rolls
- 6-8 lices Provolone cheese
- 4 tablespoon butter
- 2 tablespoon parsley chopped
- 4 tablespoon mayonnaise optional
Instructions
- Thinly slice the onion and peppers.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add in the onion, bell pepper, salt, and pepper cooking until tender and golden brown, about 6-9 minutes.
- Add in the sliced ribeye, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and cook until the steak is fully cooked, about 4 minutes.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and without separating the buns, slice them horizontally to separate the tops from the bottoms.
- Place the bottom half on a parchment lined baking sheet. Spread the meat mixture evenly over the buns, top with a layer of provolone cheese, and place the top buns back on to create a sandwich. *If using mayonnaise, spread on the underside of the top buns before placing on top of cheese.
- Melt the butter in a microwave safe bowl and stir in the chopped parsley. Brush this mixture over the tops of the buns.
- Bake in preheated oven for about 15 minutes, or until top of buns of golden brown.
- Remove from oven and serve immediately. Enjoy!
