Easy S'Mores Crumbl Cookies [Copycat Recipe]
Description
This copycat cookie recipe mixes all-purpose flour, baking soda, butter, two sugars, vanilla extract, an egg, chocolate chips, and crumbled chocolate crackers to form a dough. The crushed chocolate crackers add flavor and texture reminiscent of graham crackers found in traditional s'mores. The dough is portioned into large or bite-sized balls and baked at 350°F for 10-12 minutes until golden brown.
Once baked, several marshmallows are placed atop each cookie and caramelized with a blow torch to achieve melted, toasted marshmallow tops. This step contributes a classic s'mores taste combining chocolate, toasted marshmallow, and graham cracker notes in cookie form.
The cookies stay soft and chewy with a slightly crisp edge. To maintain softness, storing with a slice of bread or a marshmallow inside the airtight container is recommended. These cookies keep well at room temperature for up to five days and freeze for up to three months.
