Easy Steak Fajitas Recipe
Description
To make Easy Steak Fajitas, steak is sliced thinly against the grain for quick cooking and tenderness. The strips are cooked briefly over medium-high heat with fajita seasoning in neutral oil until browned, preserving juiciness. The peppers are julienned and onions sliced into rings, then sautéed until they develop a slight golden color but retain some crunch.
Once the vegetables are cooked, the steak is added back into the pan to combine flavors and rewarm. The result is a colorful dish with tender beef and sweet, slightly caramelized bell peppers and onions. This classic fajita filling can be used to stuff tortillas, or served as a protein-and-vegetable plate.
