Easy Thai Pizza Recipe
Description
This pizza starts with heating a sauce of crunchy peanut butter, coconut milk, soy sauce, garlic, ginger, agave, and lime. Cubed tofu is cooked briefly in that sauce to absorb flavors. The sauce and tofu mixture is spread over prepared pizza dough, then topped with pineapple, shredded carrot matchsticks, green onion, and cilantro before baking. The pineapple and agave add sweetness, while garlic and ginger give aromatic depth. The green onions and cilantro bring freshness to the finished pizza.
After baking until the crust is golden, extra cilantro tops the pizza for a fresh herbal note. This dish merges traditional pizza with Thai flavor influences, creating an unusual fusion perfect for adventurous meals or when craving a different type of topping.
Tips include using crunchy peanut butter for texture, reheating sauce before assembling if prepared ahead, adding spice via Sriracha or chili flakes for heat, and baking on a pizza stone to achieve crunchier crusts.
Ingredients
- 1 pizza dough pre-made
For the Sauce:
- ⅓ cup peanut butter crunchy
- ¼ cup coconut milk plus 2 Tablespoons
- 2 Tablespoons soy sauce
- 3 large garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon ginger grated
- 1 Tablespoon agave
- 1 Tablespoon of lime juice
For The Pizza:
- 6 ounces tofu cut into small cubes or triangles

- ½ cup cilantro chopped, divided
- ½ cup carrot chopped into tiny matchsticks
- 1 green onion chopped
Instructions

- For the sauce, add all ingredients and tofu into a pot and stir together under the lowest heat. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Top the pizza crust with the sauce and tofu and add all toppings, reserving 1/4 cup of cilantro.
- Bake until the pizza crust is golden brown. Mine baked for 20 minutes. Once it's done, top with remaining cilantro.
Notes
- Use crunchy peanut butter for added texture in the sauce.
- Reheat sauce before spreading on crust if making in advance.
- Add spice with Sriracha, red pepper flakes, or fresh chilies as preferred.
- Use a pizza stone for a crispier crust when baking.
