Easy Triple Chocolate Cookies

Easy Triple Chocolate Cookies blend cocoa powder with semisweet and milk chocolate chips for a rich chocolate experience. The dough uses both butter and vegetable shortening for a balanced texture that yields cookies with a tender center and slight crisp edges. Vanilla and almond extracts enhance the chocolate flavors.

Description

This cookie recipe combines cocoa powder and two types of chocolate chips—semisweet and milk chocolate—to produce deep chocolate flavor throughout. The use of both butter and vegetable shortening helps achieve a soft, yet structured texture that holds shape during baking. Sugar and brown sugar provide sweetness and moisture.

The method involves creaming fats and sugars until fluffy, incorporating eggs and extracts, then folding in dry ingredients and chocolate chips. Cookies are portioned by tablespoon onto an ungreased sheet, baked at 350°F for 9 to 11 minutes, developing a chocolate aroma and chewy texture.

These cookies are suitable as a treat or dessert when chocolate flavor is desired. They bake up well for sharing or everyday enjoyment.
