Edible Cookie Dough Bites

Report
Edible Cookie Dough Bites are soft, sweet balls made from butter, sugars, flour, milk, vanilla, and chocolate chips. They offer the rich flavor and texture of traditional cookie dough but are safe to eat raw since they use heat-treated flour. These bites are a convenient, no-bake snack or dessert that can be rolled and chilled for ready-to-eat portions.

Description

This recipe combines softened butter with brown and granulated sugars and vanilla extract until creamy. Milk is added to achieve a soft, pliable dough texture before folding in all-purpose flour and chocolate chips by hand. The flour should be heat-treated to ensure safety since the dough is not baked.

The dough is then formed into small bites or eaten as is, with chilling in the refrigerator firming them up as the butter solidifies. Letting them sit briefly at room temperature softens the texture for better enjoyment. The result is a sweet, rich dough with bursts of chocolate chips, easy to serve chilled or at room temperature.

These cookie dough bites can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to five days, making them a handy snack or a quick dessert without any baking.

Servings
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup butter softened at room temperature, unsalted
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 Tbsp milk may need more when making

  3. Then stir in the chocolate chips.
  4. Roll into balls or serve as is.
  5. Refrigerate and enjoy!

Notes

  • Allow the dough to soften slightly at room temperature after refrigeration for a more tender texture.
  • Store the cookie dough bites in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to five days.
