Fantasy Fudge

Fantasy Fudge is a chocolate confection made by boiling sugar, butter, and evaporated milk, then mixing in semisweet chocolate chips, marshmallow creme, vanilla, and chopped walnuts. The fudge sets in a pan until firm, creating rich, smooth pieces featuring a balance of creamy chocolate and nutty texture.

Description

This fudge recipe starts by lining a 9x13 pan with non-stick foil, ensuring easy removal and cleanup. Sugar, butter, and evaporated milk are boiled together for 5 minutes with occasional stirring, which helps develop a creamy base once cooled. Chocolate chips are whisked in off the heat until completely smooth, merging the intense chocolate flavor throughout.

Marshmallow creme adds lightness and smoothness, blended with vanilla extract for aroma. Chopped walnuts folded into the mixture provide crunchy texture and nutty contrast to the sweet chocolate base. Once spread evenly in the prepared pan, the fudge cools completely to set firm enough to cut into uniform 1.5-inch squares.

The result is a dense but creamy fudge with a nostalgic texture marked by the marshmallow addition, making it a classic candy option for holidays or gifting.
