Ingredients
- 1 log (16 oz) pre-sliced fresh mozzarella
- 3 medium fresh tomatoes cut into rounds
- ¼ cup fresh basil leaves shredded
- 2 tbsp olive oil for drizzling, plus extra for serving
- 3 tbsp balsamic glaze for serving
- sliced crusty bread optional for dipping
Instructions
- Create the Candy Cane: On a large platter, alternate the mozzarella and tomato slices to form a candy cane shape.
- Season and Garnish: Sprinkle salt and pepper over the slices. Drizzle over olive oil for added flavor, and generously sprinkle fresh shredded basil leaves on top of the candy cane.
