Fettuccine with Shrimp and Spinach
Description
This recipe cooks dry fettuccine pasta until al dente, then sets it aside. Shrimp seasoned with Old Bay seasoning are sautéed in butter, turning pink in minutes. Garlic and baby spinach are added last to the skillet, cooking until the spinach wilts. The pasta is combined with the shrimp mixture along with lemon juice, shredded Parmesan cheese, and chopped parsley.
The lemon juice brightens the flavor, while the butter and Parmesan add richness and creaminess. The combination of garlic, seafood seasoning, and fresh spinach contributes layers of flavor and texture. Garnishing with lemon slices and additional Parmesan rounds out the presentation. The result is a well-balanced dish where the tender fettuccine and shrimp harmonize with fresh greens and citrus.
This dish is served immediately to preserve the tender texture of shrimp and freshness of spinach. The recipe includes a nutrition label but provides no specific storage or reheating tips.
