French Bread Pizza

Using the cheat of a simple loaf of French bread, you can recreate the entire pizza experience with minimal effort and time!

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf French bread (sliced in half lengthwise)
  • ¼ cup salted butter (softened)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced or ½ teaspoon garlic powder)
  • 1 ½ cups Pizza Sauce
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • cups mozzarella cheese (Grated)
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese (Grated)
  • ½ cup thin sliced pepperoni

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 450°
  2. Cut the loaf of bread in half lengthwise.
  3. In a small bowl add the butter and garlic. Mix it well to combine and spread on the sliced bread.
  4. Place the bread onto a baking sheet, cut side up. Bake it for about 5 minutes or until the butter is melted on top and it is lightly browned. Remove from the oven.
  5. Remove from the oven and spread pizza sauce evenly on the top. Sprinkle with the oregano.
  6. Add the cheeses, the pepperoni and other toppings you may want and bake for 12-15 minutes or until bubbly on top. You can also broil it at the end for 1-2 minutes to get it to brown a bit on the top.
  7. Cool 5 minutes before slicing and serving
