French Bread Pizza

Using the cheat of a simple loaf of French bread, you can recreate the entire pizza experience with minimal effort and time!

Ingredients
- 1 loaf French bread (sliced in half lengthwise)
- ¼ cup salted butter (softened)
- 1 clove garlic (minced or ½ teaspoon garlic powder)
- 1 ½ cups Pizza Sauce
- ½ teaspoon oregano
- 1½ cups mozzarella cheese (Grated)
- ½ cup Parmesan Cheese (Grated)
- ½ cup thin sliced pepperoni
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°
- Cut the loaf of bread in half lengthwise.
- In a small bowl add the butter and garlic. Mix it well to combine and spread on the sliced bread.
- Place the bread onto a baking sheet, cut side up. Bake it for about 5 minutes or until the butter is melted on top and it is lightly browned. Remove from the oven.
- Remove from the oven and spread pizza sauce evenly on the top. Sprinkle with the oregano.
- Add the cheeses, the pepperoni and other toppings you may want and bake for 12-15 minutes or until bubbly on top. You can also broil it at the end for 1-2 minutes to get it to brown a bit on the top.
- Cool 5 minutes before slicing and serving
