Frozen Margarita Recipe
Description
The recipe begins by preparing glasses with a kosher salt rim, achieved by running a lime wedge around the glass edge then dipping it in coarse salt. In a blender, tequila, fresh lime juice, triple sec, agave syrup, and a large amount of ice are combined and blended until reaching a slushy consistency. Adjusting sweetness with additional agave syrup is optional according to taste.
Once blended, the icy margarita mix is poured immediately into the salted, rimmed glasses and served chilled. This frozen cocktail offers a bright citrus flavor, balanced by the smoothness of tequila and a touch of orange essence from the triple sec. It is ideal for warm days or as a festive drink.
