Ingredients
- 18 ounces (534g) frozen salmon filets 3 frozen fillets
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
Instructions
- Preheat the air fryer to 340 degrees F / 170 degrees C.
- Place the frozen salmon filets in the air fryer basket and cook for 7 minutes.
- While the salmon cooks, prepare a marinade by mixing the olive oil, Dijon, lemon juice, salt, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning in a small bowl.
- Open the air fryer basket and brush the salmon filets with marinade.
- Increase the air fryer temperature to 370 degrees F / 190 degrees C and cook for another 7 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
Notes
I tend to toss all of the marinade ingredients into a clean jar, seal, and shake for easy prep and cleanup. Make extra and use over the next few days.
Please do make sure that each fillet is evenly coated with the marinade to make sure they are fully flavored and brown evenly. I tend to use a pastry brush to do this.
This is a great weeknight meal so if you're cooking a bigger amount with multiple fillets, do cook them in batches if your air fryer isn't large enough. Overcrowding can lead to uneven cooking and affect the texture.
