Fruit Pizza
Description
Fruit Pizza starts with a cookie dough crust pressed into a pan and baked until lightly golden, providing a soft yet slightly crisp foundation. The topping consists of a frosting made from softened cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, vanilla, salt, and milk beaten until light and fluffy. This frosting spreads smoothly over the cooled crust, lending a rich and creamy texture that contrasts nicely with the crust's tenderness.
Fresh, sliced fruits such as kiwi, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and grapes are arranged over the frosting, adding freshness, natural sweetness, and a variety of textures. To finish, the apricot jam is warmed and brushed over the fruit to create a shiny glaze that helps keep the fruit fresh and visually appealing.
This fruit pizza is ideal served chilled or at room temperature and works well as a dessert for gatherings or a sweet snack. It can be prepared ahead and chilled up to 6 hours before serving, allowing the flavors to meld while maintaining the crust's integrity.
