Garlic Butter Pasta + Charred Green Onions

This garlic butter pasta is an adult-version of butter & noodles you used to eat as a kid. So yummy!

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butter charred, see recipe
- 1/3 cup green onion charred, see recipe
- ½ cup white onion finely diced
- 1 ½ tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. onion minced
- ½ tsp. garlic powder
- ½ tsp. black pepper cracked
- lemon zest of 1
- lemon juice of 1
- 1/3 cup basil roughly chopped
- 300 g Spaghettini pasta dry

Instructions
- Prepare the Spaghettini according to the instructions on the package in a large pot.
- Rinse, strain, and set aside.
- Melt the charred green onion butter in a large pan over medium-high heat.
- Once it begins to bubble, add the white onion and cook for 2 – 3 minutes until the onion is tender and fragrant.
- Add the lemon zest and all of the spices.
- Cook for another 2 – 3 minutes
- Add the cooked Spaghettini to the pan, mix together, and add the lemon juice, basil, and oregano. Mix until combined.
- Serve and enjoy!
Notes
- Notes Swap the Spaghettini for your preferred pasta shape OR use gluten-free pasta! Add your favorite protein option to this dish! Delicious! For extra deliciousness, add some grated cheese of your choice. Parmesan or Gruyere would be our top choice! Store the pasta in the fridge for 5 – 7 days, and reheat to serve!
