Garlic Butter Pasta Recipe

Garlic Butter Pasta features bowtie pasta coated in a buttery sauce infused with minced garlic and sautéed vegetables including red and green bell peppers, baby carrots, and olives. The vegetables add texture and a mild sweetness, while shredded Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley finish the dish with savory richness and a fresh herbal note. This pasta combines tender noodles with flavorful butter and vegetables for a balanced meal.

Description

The Garlic Butter Pasta Recipe starts by cooking bowtie pasta until tender. Meanwhile, unsalted butter is melted and combined with minced garlic, sliced bell peppers, baby carrots, and diced olives in a pan to sauté slowly and develop flavor without browning. After cooking the vegetables for about 10 minutes and adding the olives, the drained pasta is mixed into the pan, ensuring the noodles absorb the garlic butter and vegetable flavors.

Shredded Parmesan cheese is added at the end to bring a salty, nutty complexity, while fresh parsley provides a bright herbal note and a touch of color. The combination gives a slightly sweet and savory dish with a tender vegetable texture contrasting the al dente pasta. Garlic salt with parsley flakes may be adjusted to taste for seasoning.

This pasta works well as a standalone meal or a flavorful side dish. It pairs easily with grilled proteins or can be served on its own with a sprinkle of extra Parmesan for richness. The sautéed vegetables provide variety and nutrition, making it a filling option for home cooks.
