Garlic Butter Skillet Chicken

Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 teaspoon parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon Himalayan salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 6 tablespoons butter melted
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon avocado oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Season both sides of chicken with paprika, basil, parsley, salt and pepper.
- In asmall bowl, mix together butter and minced garlic
- Heat avocado oil in a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. Once pan is heated through, add chicken and cook for 1-2 minutes each side.
- Pour garlic butter sauce over the chicken and place the skillet in the preheated oven. Bake for 15-25 minutes depending on the size of chicken breasts. Chicken breasts should get to an internal temperature of 165 degrees F.
- Remove skillet from the oven. Use a spoon to pour the garlic butter sauce from the pan onto each chicken breast before serving
Notes
- This recipe makes plenty of this liquid gold garlic butter sauce. It is delicious poured on the chicken after plating, but also poured onto an accompanying side of mashed potatoes.
