Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, salt, black pepper, paprika, dried oregano, dried thyme, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Add the chicken wings to the bowl and toss them thoroughly in the marinade until well coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let the wings marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. If you're short on time, you can skip this step and proceed directly to cooking.
  3. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
  4. Place a wire rack on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Arrange the marinated chicken wings on the wire rack in a single layer.
  5. Bake the wings in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes or until they are cooked through and the skin is crispy, turning them halfway through for even cooking.
  6. Once cooked, remove the chicken wings from the oven and transfer them to a serving plate.
  7. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the wings while they're still hot.
  8. Serve the garlic chicken wings with the melted Parmesan cheese on top as an appetizer or with your favourite dipping sauce.

Notes

  • You can adjust the amount of cayenne pepper based on your preferred level of spiciness.
  • Marinating the wings is optional, but it enhances the flavour. If you're short on time, you can directly proceed to cooking after seasoning the wings.
