Garlic White Wine Shrimp
Description
This recipe starts by drying shrimp thoroughly before sautéing minced garlic and onion in a mixture of butter and olive oil until golden and fragrant. White wine is added and simmered to develop a light sauce. Shrimp are then cooked until pink and just tender, simmered further to infuse flavors, and seasoned with salt and fresh black pepper. A finishing touch of fresh lemon juice and chopped parsley brightens the dish.
The shrimp have a tender texture with a silky garlic and onion-infused sauce underscored by the subtle acidity of white wine. Cooking carefully prevents toughness and over-drying, maintaining moisture and a balanced flavor profile.
This dish is suitable for immediate serving as a simple main, appetizer, or topping for pasta and rice dishes. The fresh parsley adds color and a mild herbaceous note.
