Ingredients
- large jar or pitcher
- white vinegar
- water
- dish towel
Instructions
- Find a smaller container that’s deep enough for your circulator to run. Something like a pitcher, large mason jar, a small cooler, or a cereal container will work well.
- Place the circulator in your container of choice. Add equal parts water and white vinegar - just enough to come above your circulator's fill line.
- Set your circulator to 150 degrees F and let it run for 1 hour.
- Remove the circulator from the container. I like to use this opportunity to gently wash the outside with water and dish soap, but you don’t have to. Rinse.
- Add the circulator back to your container of choice and refill with just water to just above your circulator’s fill line.
- Set your circulator to 150 degrees F and let it run for 30 minutes.
- Remove the circulator from the container and dry it completely with a clean dish cloth.
