Giant Chewy M&M Cookies Recipe

Giant Chewy M&M Cookies combine a soft, puffy cookie center with golden, slightly crisp edges, studded with colorful mini and regular M&Ms. The dough is made with balanced amounts of brown and white sugar and plenty of butter to maintain chewiness. Large scoops produce generously sized cookies with a tender bite and vibrant bursts of chocolate candy.

Description

This cookie recipe mixes all-purpose flour with baking soda and salt, which is incorporated into a creamed butter and sugar base enriched with eggs and vanilla. The dough is kneaded until cohesive, into which mini M&Ms are folded. Cookies are portioned with large scoops and topped with additional M&Ms before baking. The baking times differ depending on cookie size, aiming for golden edges with a soft, puffy center characteristic of chewy cookies.

The blend of mini and regular M&Ms adds varied texture and a colorful look. Baking at 350°F for 10-13 minutes for larger cookies ensures they hold their shape yet retain softness inside. Cooling allows the cookies to set and finish developing their chewiness.

These cookies serve well as a sweet treat for sharing, snacking, or pairing with milk. Their size and texture make them satisfying for those who prefer thick, moist chocolate chip-style cookies with candy mix-ins.
