Gluten Free Garlic Cheddar Biscuits

These gluten free biscuits are filled with garlic flavor and cheddar cheese, just like the Red Lobster favorites, but gluten free!

Ingredients

Servings
  • 2 cups gluten free flour blend
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 cup milk
  • ¾ cup unsalted butter melted

Topping

  • ¼ cup butter melted
  • ¼ tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Combine the flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, salt, garlic powder and cheddar cheese together in a large bowl.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the milk and butter together.
  4. Add to the flour mixture and stir until a dough forms.
  5. Drop by 10 large spoonfuls onto a baking stone.
  6. Bake 12 minutes.
  7. While the biscuits are in the oven whisk the melted butter and garlic powder together for the topping.
  8. Remove biscuits from the oven brush with the topping then place back in the oven for 2-3 minutes.
