Description
Golden Moon Milk combines coconut oil or ghee with warming spices including turmeric, cinnamon, ashwagandha, ginger, nutmeg, and freshly ground black pepper. These ingredients are briefly heated to release their aromas. Whole milk is then added and gently warmed to meld the flavors without boiling. Honey may be added to taste, providing a mild sweetness that balances the earthy and spicy notes.

Ingredients
- 1 teaspoon coconut oil or ghee, organic
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric ground
- ½ teaspoon ashwagandha ground
- ¼ teaspoon ground ginger
- Pinch nutmeg ground
- black pepper freshly ground
- 300 ml whole milk fresh
- 1 teaspoon honey (optional)
Instructions
- Heat a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Add in coconut oil, followed by cinnamon, turmeric, ashwagandha, ginger, nutmeg and a generous pinch of freshly ground black pepper. Whisk to combine all the ingredients, and allow to warm up for one minute.
- Pour the milk into the saucepan and reduce heat to low. Cook, gently whisking to avoid lumps, until warmed through, about 5 minutes.
- Add honey (if using), divide among two mugs and serve straight away.
