Description
The crust mixture is prepared by combining graham cracker crumbs, granulated sugar, and melted butter until the crumbs are moistened enough to hold together when pinched. This mixture is then firmly pressed into the bottom and up the sides of an 8 to 9.5-inch pie pan. Baking at 3506F for 10 minutes results in a crisp, golden crust that holds its shape and adds sweetness and texture to pies.
This crust is adaptable, suitable as a base for cheesecakes, cream pies, or other no-bake or baked desserts. Variations include using brown sugar for deeper sweetness or substituting vegan or gluten-free graham crackers and butter alternatives as needed.

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs , about 12 full sheets, crushed
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 6 Tablespoons butter , melted
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F.
- Mix graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter in a small bowl.
- Press into Pan: Pour crumb mixture into an 8" - 9.5" pie pan and use the back of a measuring spoon to press it firmly in the bottom and up the sides of the pan.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before filling with your favorite pie.
