Ingredients
Cake
- ¾ cup butter, salted, room temperature 1 ½ sticks
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 orange, grated zest
- ⅓ cup orange juice
- 1 ⅓ cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ¾-1 cup white chocolate, chopped
Icing
- 2 ¼ cups icing or powdered sugar
- ¼ cup orange juice
- cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a 9 inch bundt pan with cooking spray and set aside.
- Using a handheld or stand mixer combine butter and 1 cup sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the eggs, one at a time, until incorporated. Add orange zest and ⅓ cup juice. Continue to blend. Add baking powder and then flour. Gently fold in your chopped chocolate.
- Pour batter into your prepared pan. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until cake is light brown and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow cake to cool in the bundt pan for about 10 minutes. Next, remove cake from pan and place on a serving plate. I usually sprinkle a little sugar on the plate although this step is not necessary.
- Now you need to grab a small bowl and combine powdered or icing sugar and orange juice. Whisk until icing is not lumpy. Drizzle icing over top of the cool cake and serve. Enjoy!
