Greek Chicken Thighs

Greek Chicken Thighs are boneless, skinless chicken pieces marinated and cooked with olive oil, garlic powder, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Pan-seared to a golden brown, this simple preparation highlights Mediterranean flavors with a fresh lemon garnish, providing a juicy and savory main course.

Description

This recipe involves coating chicken thighs in a marinade of olive oil, garlic powder, fresh lemon juice, dried oregano, salt, and coarse black pepper. If time allows, the thighs marinate for 30 minutes to enhance flavor and tenderness. Cooking in a preheated skillet with additional olive oil results in a nicely browned exterior while retaining juicy meat inside.

Cooking is done in batches to avoid overcrowding, ensuring even heat distribution and caramelization. The thighs are seared skin side down first, then flipped to complete cooking. The simple seasoning blend and lemon juice give the chicken a tangy and herbal profile characteristic of Greek cuisine.

This straightforward dish can be served with lemon slices as garnish and pairs well with sides like roasted vegetables, rice, or salads. It provides an easy way to enjoy flavorful chicken with minimal preparation.
