Greek Yogurt Fudgesicles

Greek Yogurt Fudgesicles are frozen treats made by blending Greek yogurt, milk, unsweetened cocoa powder, maple syrup, vanilla, and salt. This combination yields a smooth, creamy, chocolate-flavored popsicle with subtle sweetness from maple syrup and tang from yogurt. The fudgesicle texture is cold and firm, offering a rich dairy-based dessert that can be enjoyed after freezing overnight.

Description

This recipe blends plain Greek yogurt with milk to create a creamy base that balances the bitterness of unsweetened cocoa powder and the sweetness of maple syrup. Vanilla extract and salt enhance the chocolate flavor. Once blended smooth, the mixture is poured into popsicle molds and frozen for several hours to set solidly.

The result is a dairy-rich frozen treat with a fudgy chocolate taste, slightly tangy from the yogurt, and mild natural sweetness. The texture is firm and refreshing, ideal for cooling down on warm days or as a lighter option than traditional ice cream bars.

Before unmolding, letting the fudgesicles sit briefly at room temperature or rinsing the molds briefly in warm water helps release them cleanly without damage.
