Green Beans and Minced Meat Stir Fry
Description
The recipe begins by seasoning ground pork with salt and white pepper and allowing it to rest briefly to enhance flavor. The pork is fried in neutral cooking oil until crispy and lightly browned, then removed from the wok. Aromatics including minced garlic, ginger, and chopped fresh Thai peppers are then stir-fried until fragrant, infusing the oil with spicy and savory notes.
Chopped green beans are added and cooked until tender but still firm, maintaining a slight crunch. The pork is returned to the wok, and light soy sauce along with additional salt if needed is added to create a savory coating. The mixture simmers briefly to evaporate excess liquid, resulting in a flavorful, stir-fried dish with minimal sauce.
With its balance of textures—crisp pork bits and tender-crisp green beans—and a spiced, savory flavor profile, this stir fry complements steamed rice or warm congee, making it a complete meal or accompaniment. The method emphasizes layered flavors achieved by separate cooking of meat and aromatics.
