Grilled Rib Eye Steak Recipe

This Grilled Rib Eye Steak Recipe focuses on thick-cut, grass-fed ribeye seasoned simply with olive oil, salt, and black pepper. The steak is brought to room temperature before being grilled over medium-high heat, developing a rich, charred crust while preserving juicy tenderness inside. Resting under a tent of foil allows the juices to redistribute for an evenly cooked steak. Cooking times vary by desired doneness from medium-rare to medium-well, letting you tailor the result to your preference.

Description

The Grilled Rib Eye Steak Recipe uses a minimalist approach highlighting a high-quality ribeye steak. Seasoning with olive oil, salt, and black pepper enhances the meat without overpowering its natural beef flavor. The cooking method involves grilling over medium-high heat to create a caramelized surface and a flavorful crust that contrasts with the tender, juicy interior. Resting the steak after grilling helps the fibers relax and the juices settle, improving overall texture and flavor balance.

The steak can be sliced and served as the main protein for a dinner plate, pairing well with grilled vegetables, potatoes, or a fresh salad. This recipe allows the meat’s quality and simple seasoning to shine.

For best results, bring the ribeye to room temperature before grilling to promote even cooking. Adjust grilling time based on thickness and desired doneness, using the internal temperatures as guidelines. Tent the steak loosely with foil when resting for about 10 minutes before slicing.
