Grilled Shrimp
Description
This recipe uses whole shrimp coated in a marinade consisting of freshly squeezed lemon juice, olive oil, chopped rosemary, minced garlic, kosher salt, and cracked black pepper. The combination of citrus and herbs infuses the shrimp with fresh, aromatic notes. Marinating for about 30 minutes allows the flavors to develop without overpowering the shrimp’s natural sweetness.
Threading the shrimp on skewers makes grilling or broiling efficient, with around 2-3 minutes per side enough to cook through while retaining moisture. The shrimp develop a pink color and slight char that adds depth to the flavor and texture.
Grilled Shrimp work well served as a main dish, appetizer, or alongside salads, rice, or vegetables. The marinade is simple yet elevates the shrimp’s natural flavor without masking it.
