Grinch Brownies

Grinch Brownies combine classic boxed brownie mix with chopped mint-flavored Oreo cookies, baked in a 9x13 pan and topped with a creamy white chocolate peppermint frosting colored green. The recipe creates a fudgy, minty dessert with festive colors and crunchy bits for texture. Red hot candies add a seasonal finishing touch.

Description

This recipe begins with preparing brownie batter according to the box instructions, mixing in chopped mint Oreos to infuse the batter with spearmint flavor and a crunchy element. The batter is spread evenly in a parchment-lined dish and baked until just set. Cooling the brownies is essential before adding the topping to ensure the frosting sets properly.

The white chocolate frosting is melted together with heavy cream over simmering water, then combined with peppermint extract for a minty flavor and tinted with green food coloring for a Grinch-themed appearance. This glossy frosting is spread over cooled brownies and garnished with additional chopped Oreos and red hots candies for a colorful, playful finish.

These brownies suit those seeking a festive mint-chocolate dessert with textural contrast from cookies inside and on top. They provide a moist interior with a sweet, peppermint-cream topping balanced by subtle crunch.
