Grinch Crinkle Cookies

Report
Grinch Crinkle Cookies combine a white cake mix with vegetable oil and eggs, colored red and green with gel food coloring, rolled in white sanding sugar, then baked. These cookies have a soft texture with a slightly crisp sugary exterior. Their festive colors make them a visual treat for holiday celebrations.

Description

The Grinch Crinkle Cookies recipe starts with a white cake mix blended with oil and eggs to form a batter divided into red and green portions using gel food coloring. Small amounts of each color dough are formed into balls, rolled in white sanding sugar, pressed lightly flat, and baked at 350°F for 7 to 8 minutes. The result is a cookie with a tender crumb contrasted by a sweet, lightly crunchy sugar coating.

The batter’s cake mix base ensures softness and moisture, while the sanding sugar adds a cosmetic sparkle and textural contrast. The color combination creates a playful holiday theme resembling the Grinch character colors.

Letting the cookies cool completely before serving helps the sugar coating adhere and the texture to set.

This recipe is straightforward and designed to be fun and appealing to children, making it suitable for holiday baking activities or festive treats.
