Ground Beef Stir Fry
Description
The Ground Beef Stir Fry starts by mixing a sauce of beef broth, soy sauce, mirin, honey, sesame oil, and minced garlic. Ground beef is sautéed in oil over medium-high heat until browned, seasoned with salt and pepper. Chopped vegetables—carrots, red bell pepper, and snap peas—are added and cooked briefly for a tender-crisp texture. The prepared sauce is poured into the pan, and the heat is lowered to medium to thicken the sauce, coating all ingredients.
This stir fry offers a combination of textures: tender, flavorful beef, crisp vegetables, and a glossy, savory sauce with sweet highlights from honey and warmth from sesame oil. Finished with green onions and sesame seeds for freshness and crunch, it’s a well-rounded meal that can be served immediately or packed for later.
Serve this dish alongside rice or your preferred side to absorb the sauce. Its adaptability for meal prep containers makes it a practical option for a convenient and satisfying protein and vegetable dish.
