Ground Beef Tacos

Ground Beef Tacos feature seasoned ground beef cooked with spices, diced tomatoes, and onions, served warm in taco shells with toppings such as lettuce, tomato, onion, and cheese. The mix of chili powder, cumin, smoked paprika, and other spices provides a layered savory flavor, while the soft cooked beef and fresh toppings offer contrasting textures making for a classic taco meal.

Description

This recipe starts with heating vegetable oil in a pan before browning lean ground beef and softening finely chopped onions. The fat is drained before adding a blend of chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, red pepper flakes, oregano, smoked paprika, cumin, salt, and black pepper to coat the meat evenly with seasoning.

Diced petite tomatoes are then stirred in and simmered briefly to combine flavors and add moisture. The filling is spooned into crunchy taco shells, then topped with fresh lettuce, diced tomatoes, sliced onions, and shredded cheese as desired. This method delivers a mildly spicy, aromatic filling with juicy tomato notes.

The assembled tacos serve as an approachable main dish, excellent for casual meals and gatherings. The balance of savory meat and fresh toppings offers variety in flavor and texture that complements each bite.
