Ingredients

Servings
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • 3 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey or sugar
  • 2 teaspoons garlic paste or 2 cloves minced garlic

Optional Add-Ins -

  • 2 teaspoons chili garlic paste
  • 1 teaspoon ginger paste
  • ½ teaspoon sesame seeds

For the Gyoza -

  • 1 package your favorite fresh or frozen dumplings

Instructions

  1. Set out a small mixing bowl. Combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, honey, and garlic paste. If using additional add-ins, add them at this time. Whisk well.
  2. Cover the dipping sauce and allow it to rest at room temperature while you prepare the dumplings.

Pan Fry Dumplings -

Air Fry Gyoza -

  1. For Air Fryer Dumplings, preheat the air fryer to 390°F. Once hot, open the air fryer basket and spray the inside with cooking spray.
  2. Lay the frozen dumplings in a single layer in the bottom of the air fryer. Then spray the tops with oil spray.
  3. Air fry the dumplings for 7 minutes. Then shake the basket to flip the dumplings and continue to air fry for another 4-6 minutes until crispy and golden on the outside.

Notes

  • Store gyoza dipping sauce in an airtight container and keep in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.
