Halloween chex mix

Report
Halloween chex mix combines crunchy Chex cereal, Bugles, and mini pretzels coated in a brown sugar vanilla butter mixture and baked until crisp. After cooling, it is mixed with colorful candy corn, candy pumpkins, and Reese’s Pieces for a festive sweet and salty snack. This treat offers a balance of crunch and candy sweetness, making it suitable for holiday gatherings.

Description

The recipe begins by preheating the oven and preparing baking sheets lined with parchment paper. Butter is melted and combined with brown sugar and vanilla extract, creating a coating mixture. Rice Chex, Bugles, and mini pretzels are spread across baking sheets and coated thoroughly with the butter mixture by hand. Baking at a low temperature dries and caramelizes the coating, enhancing the crunchiness.

After baking and cooling completely, the mixture is tossed with candy corn, candy pumpkins, and Reese’s Pieces, adding candy sweetness and festive color contrasts to the crunchy base. The combination of buttery caramelized mix and candies delivers textural and flavor variety.

The snack is best stored in an airtight container to maintain crispness and can be served at Halloween parties or as a holiday-themed treat.
