Ingredients
- 20 Oreo cookies
- 80 small pretzel sticks
- ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 40 Candy Eyeballs
- 40 candy corn pieces
Instructions
- Carefully twist apart the Oreos so the filling stays on one side, the bottom. Try hard not to lick the filling.
- Melt your chocolate chips in 30 second intervals in the microwave, stirring each time until melted. This may take up to 2 minutes.
- Break all of your pretzel sticks in half, so you have 8 halves per Oreo. Then dip the ends of the pretzels in the melted chocolate to cover them in chocolate, and place the 8 halves of the pretzels onto the Oreo, chocolate end out.
- While the chocolate is still melty, stick the top of the Oreo back on.
- Gently dip the candy eyes into the chocolate (or use a toothpick to place melted chocolate onto the back of the eyes, and stick them to the top of the Oreos.
- Cut the white tips off of all of the candy corn and stick two white pieces into the front, side, of the Oreo and press it into the filling to stick, these are the spiders teeth.
- Repeat with the rest of the Oreos and enjoy!
Notes
- Storage & Make Ahead
- Store: Keep your Oreo spiders in an airtight container at room temperature. They’ll stay fresh and crunchy for up to three days.
- Freeze: Freezing these isn’t recommended as it can make the pretzels and cookies lose their crunch. Better to enjoy them fresh!
- Make Ahead: You can easily make these Halloween treats up to two days in advance. Just store them in an airtight container to keep them from getting stale. Perfect for prepping ahead of a big Halloween bash!
