Description
This snack mix is made by blending Rice Chex and Corn Chex cereals with mini pretzels, peanuts, Halloween-themed M&M’s, and candy corn. The mixture is coated evenly with melted white almond bark, which hardens to create a sweet, creamy shell around the crunchy components. Once spread out on parchment and set, the mixture breaks into pieces ready to serve.
The contrast of salty pretzels and peanuts with the sweetness of the candy and almond bark provides a balanced, festive treat. Its no-bake preparation is suitable for quick assembly before gatherings or as an easy homemade gift.

Ingredients
- 1½ cups rice chex cereal
- 1½ cups corn chex cereal
- 2 cups pretzels mini
- 2 cups M&M candies Halloween variety
- 1-2 cups peanuts salted or unsalted
- 1 cup candy corn or Halloween Mallow Mix
- 1 (24-ounce) package almond bark white
Instructions
- Line large pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine Chex, pretzels, M&M’s, peanuts, and candy corn and mix well.
- Break almond bark into pieces and melt in a medium pot over low heat, stirring constantly until smooth.
- Pour melted bark over cereal mixture and mix well.
- Spread out onto wax paper or onto a parchment paper–lined baking sheet. Let set for 1 hour, then break into pieces to serve.
Notes
- Store the mix in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 weeks or freeze for 2-3 months for best freshness.
- Melting almond bark over a double boiler helps achieve smooth texture without burning.
- If using a microwave to melt almond bark, heat in 30-second intervals and stir well between each to prevent overheating.
