Halloween Tortilla Chips

Report
These Halloween Tortilla Chips are mini tortilla wraps cut into festive shapes, lightly brushed with olive oil, and baked until crisp. Their thin, crunchy texture makes them a fun, seasonal snack or a creative addition to parties and celebrations.

Description

The recipe involves cutting small tortilla wraps with Halloween-themed cookie cutters to create shapes. The pieces are placed on a baking tray and brushed on both sides with olive oil to promote even crisping. Baking at 190°C (375°F) for a few minutes on each side crisps the chips without deep-frying, resulting in a lighter snack.

The tortilla chips boast a delicate crunch that can be customized by dipping or decorating. For added fun, edible food markers may be used to draw spooky faces on them before or after baking. Using flavored or vegetable-enhanced tortillas will add variety both in taste and nutritional value.

Warm tortillas briefly in the microwave if they are difficult to cut, which softens them without affecting baking quality. These chips make a festive snack or accompaniment for dips at Halloween events.
