Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 lb ham ground
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs (See Note 1)
  • 1/2 white onion grated
  • 2 egg beaten, large
  • 1 cup milk whole
  • 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper ground
  • sauce

Sauce

  • 1 tomato soup 10.75 oz, condensed, canned
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9×13 baking dish and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground ham, beef, pork, graham cracker crumbs, grated onion, eggs, milk, and salt. Using your hand, mix thoroughly until combined.
  3. For even sized meatballs, weigh before rolling and portion into 15 balls. Transfer to prepared baking dish.
  4. Whisk together the tomato soup, vinegar, brown sugar, mustard, and salt and pour over the ham balls. Be sure to cover all for even glazing.
  5. Bake uncovered, basting with the sauce every 20 minutes. Bake until ham balls internal temp reaches 160°F, about 50-60 minutes. Remove from the oven and serve with sauce spooned over top.

Notes

  • 14 square graham crackers or 7 paired graham crackers (rectangle) crushed will equal 1 cup of crumbs.
