Sriracha Pizza Sauce

  1. Add the olive oil to a large pot on the stove over medium heat. Add the minced garlic, and cook for 1 minute.

Notes

  • The sauce recipe provided makes approximately 6 cups of pizza sauce. While only 2 cups of sauce are needed to make one Hawaiian pizza, the other 4 cups can be stored in the refrigerator or freezer until ready to use. I like to store the sauce in pint size mason jars, which equals two cups of sauce. This is the exact amount needed for a pizza, so you only defrost what you need per pizza. Always make sure when freezing liquids in glass jars to leave 3/4 inch open at the top of the jar. This allows the liquid to expand without breaking the glass.
  • The sauce will stay good in the fridge for up to a week, or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
  • Leftover pizza will stay good, stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator, for up to 5 days. Reheat the pizza leftovers on a sheet pan under the broiler in the oven on high for 2-3 minutes. Or preheat the oven to 350°F, wrap the pizza in foil and place it in the oven for 15 minutes. You can also reheat the pizza in the microwave for 1-2 minutes, or in an air fryer set to 400°F for 2-3 minutes.
