Hawaiian Poke Bowl
Description
This Hawaiian Poke Bowl features marinated raw tuna or salmon cut into cubes and infused with a soy-based marinade enriched by rice vinegar, sesame oil, and lime juice to bring a refreshing tang and richness. After marinating, the fish is served atop a bed of cooked rice and garnished with an array of fresh and crunchy vegetables like thinly sliced cucumber, radish, and creamy slices of avocado. Seaweed salad and dried seaweed add an umami depth, while diced mango offers a sweet contrast.
The accompanying spicy aioli mixes mayonnaise and Sriracha to add creaminess and heat, lending additional flavor complexity. The bowl can be served buffet-style for customization or as individual servings, enabling flexible presentation.
All toppings can be adjusted to personal preference, making it adaptable and suitable for different tastes and dietary choices, whether at home or a gathering. This dish offers a fresh, bright, and texturally varied meal with raw fish as the centerpiece.
