Healthy Chocolate Chip Oat Cookies

These Healthy Chocolate Chip Oat Cookies blend quick-cooking rolled oats and almond flour with honey and coconut oil for sweetness and moisture, combined with dark chocolate chips for richness. The resulting cookies are lightly golden, chewy, and offer a wholesome treat made with thoughtful ingredients.

Description

The recipe mixes quick oats and almond flour to provide a tender, chewy texture enhanced by baking powder and salt for proper rise and balance. Honey and melted coconut oil add moisture and sweetness without refined sugars. An egg and vanilla extract bind the dough and contribute flavor.

The dough is portioned by tablespoon onto parchment-lined trays and baked at a moderate temperature until lightly golden. The dark chocolate chips add bursts of bittersweet flavor, complementing the natural sweetness from honey. The baking time is short to keep cookies soft-centered.

This cookie recipe yields about 24 cookies suitable for snacks or light dessert. Their composition makes them a thoughtful option for those preferring ingredients like almond flour and honey. Cooling cookies on racks prevents sogginess and helps them set properly.
