Healthy Chocolate Raspberry Brownies

Report
These Healthy Chocolate Raspberry Brownies use mashed bananas, almond butter, cocoa powder, and oat flour as a base to create a moist, chocolatey snack. Raspberries are folded on top before baking, offering fresh bursts amid a soft, slightly sweet batter. The brownies are vegan and can be refrigerated to keep firm, providing a less traditional but nutritious alternative to classic brownies.

Description

The Healthy Chocolate Raspberry Brownies replace typical flour and butter with mashed bananas, almond butter, and oat flour made from blended rolled oats. Cocoa powder gives rich chocolate flavor without added fats. The wet batter combines almond milk, vanilla extract, and a liquid sweetener for sweetness and moisture, yielding a thick yet smooth consistency.

Fresh or frozen raspberries are gently pressed into the top before baking, which adds tartness and texture contrasts to the soft, dense brownie. Baking at a moderate temperature allows the brownies to set without drying out, and cooling completely in the refrigerator helps them firm up for clean slicing.

This recipe allows substitutions such as using cow's milk in place of almond milk, or swapping almond butter with peanut butter for variation. It also permits alternative berries and the addition of chocolate chips for indulgence. For gluten-free needs, ensure to use certified gluten-free oats.

The combination of natural fruit sweetness and healthy fats makes these brownies a more wholesome treat. The berry topping provides a fresh note complementing the cocoa's bitterness.
